Vacation Rerun: The Paradox of Suffering - An Invitation from Saint Maximilian Kolbe
The "About" page for These Stone Walls describes that Saint Maximilian Kolbe is one of the patrons of this blog. This post first appeared just a few months after Pornchai Moontri was received into the Catholic Church on Divine Mercy Sunday in 2010. The invitation from Saint Maximilian Kolbe described here is a way to sacrifice personal suffering as a share in the suffering of Christ. Pornchai and I and some of our other friends in prison decided to Consecrate ourselves on the Solemnity of the Assumption last year to Saint Maximilian's dual movements, the Militia of the Immaculata and the Knights at the Foot of the Cross. Many TSW readers joined us, and this invitation still stands. You may begin the nine-day period of reflection before any Marian Feast such as the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima on May 13 or the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary on May 31. You may find more information, and register your own Consecration at www.Consecration.com.Please click here to visit “The Paradox of Suffering: An Invitation From Saint Maximilian Kolbe.”
